Navratri is round the corner and most of us keep fast...
Some keep for 1-2 days and some for continuous 7 days
Generally fried stuff is made n eaten that results in acidity...

Sharing some healthy options that will keep you light yet full

One such dish is FALAHARI DHOKLA.......yes you read I right vrat ka Dhokla ??

RECIPE

- soak 1 cup samak rice n 1/3 cup saboodana in 1/2 cup curd overnite in refrigerator
( alternatively you can grind the dry powder n store n can be used whenever required ...just MIX with curd n ready )
- grind the mixture to have a smooth paste n adjust the water consistency
- add 1 tbspn sugar
- sendha namak to taste
- squeeze half a lemon
- add 1/2 tspn if roasted cumin powder
- now keep the steamer on gas
- grease the thaali
- add eno sachet in batter n MIX with soft hands
- pour the batter in thaali n steam until done
Tempering
- add oil in a Tadka pan
- add curry leaves n sliced chillies
- add 3-4 tbspn water 1/4 tspn sugar
- switch off the gas n add few drops of lemon juice
- make cuts in Dhokla
- pour the tempering
